Grip a rope, dig in your heels, and pull your hardest against the opposing team — a primal test of collective strength and teamwork that ignites cheering, laughter, and friendly rivalry.

The Essentials

Split into two teams of equal size and line up along a long, sturdy rope, gripping it with both hands and keeping it under your arm rather than wrapped around your body. Mark the rope's center point and a line on the ground beneath it. On the signal, both teams lean back and pull together, digging their heels in and using their legs and body weight rather than just arm strength. A team wins when it pulls the center mark past its own line, or when the opposing team is pulled off balance or across the line entirely.
