A logic puzzle where you draw a single unbroken, non-crossing loop connecting dots on a grid, so the number of loop edges surrounding each numbered cell exactly matches that cell's printed number.

The Essentials

Steps

  1. Start with the easiest clues: a 0 means draw no lines around that cell; a 3 next to a corner or edge cell often forces two of its lines immediately.
  2. When two 3s sit diagonally adjacent, the shared corner must have lines on both outer sides.
  3. Mark corners where exactly two lines already meet — no third line can ever be added there, so cross out the other two possible directions.
  4. Keep filling in forced lines and crossing out impossible ones until a single loop closes with no branches or crossings.

Tips

  • Cross out an edge (with a small X) as soon as you know it can't be part of the loop — it narrows the rest quickly.
  • Focus first on the puzzle's edges and corners, where fewer possible line directions exist.
