Bluff your way through a corrupt government — claim any role, take coins, and challenge opponents who doubt you. Lose both your influence cards and you're eliminated in this quick deduction game.

The Essentials

  • Bluff confidently even with weak cards, since hesitation is often the biggest tell that gives away a bluff
  • Challenge sparingly — a wrong challenge costs you an influence card, so only challenge when the claim seems statistically unlikely
  • Track which character cards have already been revealed or lost, since only 3 of each character exist in the deck
  • Use the Duke's tax and Captain's steal aggressively early to build a coin lead before others catch up
  • Remember that at 7+ coins you must coup, so plan your coin count to avoid being forced into a move you don't want
