Environment Indoor / Outdoor

Solve short climbing routes on padded low walls without ropes, using just your hands, feet, and problem-solving instincts — bouldering builds grip strength, body awareness, and analytical thinking in a supportive gym community.

The Essentials

Chalk your hands for grip and study the route (marked by colored holds) before starting, planning out roughly which holds you'll use for hands and feet. Climb using more leg strength than arm strength — push up with your legs rather than pulling yourself up mainly with your arms, which tire quickly. Keep your body close to the wall and your hips over your feet for better balance, and look for the next hold before committing to a move. Thick crash pads cushion falls, but always climb with a spotter who can guide your fall away from hazards, and only climb as high as you're comfortable falling from. Start on easier, lower-graded routes and progress gradually as your strength and technique improve.

Freediving

Descend into the water on a single breath, using trained relaxation and technique to reach depths and durations that seem impossible — freediving is a meditative extreme sport that builds extraordinary breath control and teaches you to be still under pressure.

Rock Climbing

Rock Climbing

Clip your rope into bolted protection as you ascend single-pitch or multi-pitch routes, with a partner belaying from below — sport climbing develops upper-body strength, precise footwork, and problem-solving at heights beyond what bouldering offers.
