Walk the fairways and use specialist clubs to drive a ball from the tee into each hole in as few shots as possible — golf is a precision sport combining focus, technique, and patience, played in beautiful open landscapes at a competitive pace.

The Essentials

How to play

  1. Tee off from the marked tee area, hitting the ball toward the fairway with a driver or wood.
  2. Play the ball where it lands each time, using different clubs (irons, wedges) as you get closer to the green.
  3. Avoid hazards like bunkers, water, and rough — they cost you extra strokes to escape.
  4. Once on the green, use your putter to roll the ball toward the hole.
  5. Finish the hole by sinking the ball into the cup, then record your total number of strokes.
  6. Play through all 18 (or 9) holes and add up your strokes — the lowest total score wins.
